The Lewistown Pistol Club is again hosting Combat (PPC) and Action Pistol shoots this year.  We will be offering a 480 PPC match, a 600 PPC match and a 420 Action Pistol match. Cost is $5.00 per match per gun.  If you shoot all 3 matches available you will need 150 rounds to compete.   

The matches will be held on the following dates and times:

Sunday April 6, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday May 4, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday June 1, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday July 6, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday August 3, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday September 7, 2008 beginning at 11am

Sunday October 5, 2008 beginning at 11am

Equipment needed to shoot the matches is the following: 

• Handgun - .35 caliber or larger with barrel length 6” or less.
• Speed loaders – for revolver shooters, 2 minimum.
• Magazines – for auto shooters, 2 minimum, preferably 3 mags.
• Holster – conventional strong side holster (no shoulder rigs or cross draw types).
• Ear and eye protection.

   

  The PPC/Action Pistol matches are shot at distances of 4 yards to the maximum distance of 25 yards.
